day 7

Posted on: 23 February 2011

Your dream wedding.

The truth is, I didn’t really enjoy planning my wedding. It turned out fine, near-perfect even, but planning it was mostly a gigantic pain. I was never one of those girls who dream about their wedding day. I think it crossed my mind once, maybe twice, as a teen.

And then I was the first in my peer group to cross that threshold.

Orchids and roses. Lavender and ivory, silver and crystal. High ceilings and open spaces and natural light. Modern romantic. Laughter and love.

Anyway. A wedding is one day. Marriage is a lifetime.
