people watching

Posted on: 12 June 2011

Travelling with two guys – even if one of them is your brother and the other your husband – means frequent “which girl do you think is hotter” discussions.

So far Taiwan wins for having prettier people. Though Changsha comes close, I think. What mystifies me is how meticulously dressed they are when it’s so hot out. I can’t imagine getting all dolled up, knowing that in minutes I’m going to be a sweaty sticky mess.

Unless they’re acclimatized and don’t melt in this thirty-degree sauna.

We’re staying at a hostel in Taipei. And this evening we had dinner and dessert with Kevin’s skater friends! AND his ex!
